Like anything in life once the novelty wears off so your downloading habits change, when you first find free content on p2p networks you will hoard like hell downloading all you can. After a few years you become more choosy as to what you download, this could be for two reasons.
First: you have everything and there is very little left to download due to this initial hoarding period.
Second: You just got older and can't spend as much time gathering content like you used to.
